MATTHEW 12: 46 While he was still speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers were standing outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, "Look, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you. 48 But to the one who had told him this, Jesus replied "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" 49 And pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother, and my brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.

MATTHEW 4:1-4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 He fasted, forty days and forty nights, and afterwards he was famished. 3 The tempter came and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread." 4 But he answered, "It is written,"One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God."

MATTHEW 4:5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and placed him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 saying to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down; for it is written, He will command his angels concerning you, and " On their hands they will bear you up, so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.'' Jesus said to him, "Again it is written, 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' "

MATTHEW 4:8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor; 9 and he said to him, "All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me." 10 Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! for it is written, worship the Lord your God and serve only him."

MATTHEW 4:11 Then the devil left him and suddenly angels came and waited on him.

ROMANS 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn within a large family. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified.

ROMANS 8: 31 What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? 33 Who will bring charges against God’s elect? It is God who justifies, 34 Who is to condemn? It is Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

ROMANS 8: 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

ROMANS 9:15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, And I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God who shows mercy. 17 For the scripture says to Pharoah, “I have raised you up for the very purpose of showing my power in you, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth. 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he chooses, and he hardens the heart of whomever he chooses.

ROMANS 9:19 You will say to me then, “Why then does he still find fault? For who can resist his will? 20 But who indeed are you, a human being to argue with God? Will what is molded say to the one who molds it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one object for special use and another for ordinary use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience the objects of wrath that are made for destruction; 23 and what if he has done so in order to make known the riches of his glory for the objects of mercy; which he has prepared beforehand for glory-- 24 including us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? 25 As indeed he says in Hosea, “Those who were not my people I will call my people, and he who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved’ “ 26 “And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they shall be called children of the living God.”

1 CORINTHIANS 1:26 Consider your own call, brothers and sisters, not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose  what is weak in the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, 29 so that no one might boast in the presence of God.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

HEBREWS 6:4 For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, since on their own they are crucifying again the Son of God and are holding him up to contempt.

REVELATION 22: Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
